Chia Pudding Recipe
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons chia seeds
1 cup milk (or non-dairy alternatives like almond milk, coconut milk, etc.)
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Toppings (e.g., fresh fruits, nuts, granola, coconut flakes)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Base
In a bowl or jar, combine the chia seeds, milk, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Stir well to ensure the chia seeds are evenly distributed.
2. Mix and Set
Cover the bowl or jar with a lid or plastic wrap. Place it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight. The chia seeds will absorb the liquid and thicken, creating a creamy texture.
3. Stir Before Serving
After the chia pudding has set, give it a quick stir to break up any clumps of chia seeds that may have formed. The pudding should have a thick, gel-like consistency.
4. Add Toppings
Top your chia pudding with your favorite toppings, such as fresh fruits (berries, bananas, mango), nuts (almonds, walnuts), granola, or a drizzle of honey.
5. Serve and Enjoy
Serve the chia pudding chilled, and enjoy it as a healthy breakfast, snack, or dessert!
Tip: You can adjust the consistency by adding more or less milk depending on your preference. For a creamier pudding, add a little more milk.
