Breakfast Sandwich Recipe
Ingredients
1 English muffin (or any bread of choice)
1 large egg
2 slices of crispy bacon (or turkey bacon)
1 slice of cheddar cheese
1 leaf of fresh lettuce (optional)
1 tablespoon butter
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients
1. Slice the English muffin in half and lightly toast it.
2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then set it aside.
Step 2: Cook the Egg
1. Heat a small skillet over medium heat and add a little butter.
2. Crack the egg into the skillet and cook it sunny-side-up or over-easy, depending on your preference.
3. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3: Assemble the Sandwich
1. Spread a thin layer of butter on the toasted English muffin halves.
2. Place the slice of cheddar cheese on the bottom half.
3. Add the crispy bacon slices on top of the cheese.
4. Gently place the cooked egg over the bacon.
5. Optionally, add a leaf of fresh lettuce for some crunch.
6. Top it with the other half of the English muffin.
